The Problem

Wilson came to us with a WordPress and WooCommerce store held together by a dozen paid plugins. It looked like a template — because it was one. On mobile the layout collapsed, product images loaded slowly, and search returned the wrong appliances or nothing at all. With thousands of SKUs and multiple vendors, the site buckled: pages took 8–11 seconds to load, the checkout dropped customers on the payment step, and the admin panel was too slow for the team to manage stock. The result was the classic e-commerce leak — high ad spend, plenty of visitors, and a cart-abandonment rate north of 80%. They were paying to bring people to a store that quietly turned them away.

Our Approach

We rebuilt Wilson from the ground up in code — no themes, no plugin soup. We engineered a custom multi-vendor architecture that scales to thousands of listings, an AI-driven search and recommendation engine that understands technical specs, a side-by-side product comparison tool, and end-to-end logistics tracking from warehouse to doorstep. We tackled every classic e-commerce problem head-on: (1) Speed — we cut load times from ~10s to under 1.5s with server-side rendering, image optimization and edge caching. (2) Search — we replaced keyword-guessing with indexed, AI-powered discovery, so customers find the exact appliance instantly. (3) Checkout — we removed friction with a streamlined, secure, multi-layer-encrypted flow and a wallet, killing the drop-off on the payment step. (4) Mobile — a true mobile-first rebuild, since most of their traffic was on phones. (5) Trust — clean UI, real product comparisons and transparent delivery tracking that made a high-value purchase feel safe. (6) Operations — a fast custom admin and vendor portal so the team manages stock, pricing and fulfilment without fighting the tools.
